FXIT (FX-IT) was originally created as an alias for developer/designer Gavin Potts. FX is the brand identity and IT stands for Information Technology, which is our passion.

Starting way back in 2002, Gavin (aged 13) developing skills in HTML/CSS (with Dreamweaver 3) as well as creation of web graphics (with Fireworks 3). In 2004, he started writing PHP code and eventually released some commercial scripts under the trading name of Gavdog.co.uk. Shortly after this in 2005, he left school and began taking on clients who required web design and programming work and also created a new brand identity called Vistawebs. Vistawebs became Gavin’s web design service alias for 2 years until in 2007, it was renamed FXIT as Gavin started providing all kinds of other IT related services.

Since then FXIT has thrived and prospered into a reputable business providing various IT services (including web design and development) to over 20 different clients.
